National Defense University, Fort McNair, Washington, DC.

Traveling to the National Defense University (NDU)

    By Car:  

    By Train:  The closest Amtrak station is Washington’s Union Station,
                       which is 3 miles from NDU.

    By Air:  Reagan National Airport is the closest airport.  It is also practical to fly
                     into Dulles or Washington Baltimore International. These could be less
                     expensive from your point of origin.

 

Getting on Base

You will need a photo I.D. to get on base. If you are an member of a non-US military service, having a set of orders in english may also speed up getting on base.  However, during morning rush hour it can take 30 minutes to get on base, so it is best to stay on base or arrive early.

Parking

Free parking is available a block from the conference location.

Registration/Fees & Check-in - coming soon

The Connections 2015 has no registration fee.  However, we need for to register on line  as participating live or virtually, to inform our preparations.

Meals/Snacks

Coming soon.

Dress

The dress for Connections will be business casual (slacks/khakis and polo shirt) or uniform of the day.

Clearances

Connections is unclassified hence no clearances are required.

Electronic Devices

There is no restriction on bringing any electronic device.
