Henry Lowood, Pioneer in the preservation of wargames, historian, curator
Henry Lowood is curator for history of science & technology collections and for film & media collections at Stanford University. Since 2000, he has led How They Got Game, a research and archival preservation project devoted to the history of digital games and simulations. He has published widely in the history of technology, computing history, game studies, and digital preservation, as well as reviewing wargames and delivering order-of-battle research for several commercial boardgames.
