Philip Sabin is the Professor of Strategic Studies, Department of War Studies, King’s College London, UK. He is one of the leading advocates world wide for the application of wargaming to education. He has written or edited fifteen books and monographs including; Simulating War, 2012, Lost Battles and The Cambridge History of Greek and Roman Warfare, both 2007. He specializes in the analytical modeling and simulation of conflict from ancient to contemporary. He has worked closely for many years with the armed forces of the United Kingdom, including recent (2011) efforts to encourage grater use of wargaming in military education and force development.
