Yuna Wong, SME Wargaming Irregular Warfare
Dr. Wong is an operations research analyst at the Marine Corps Combat
Development Command, where she works primarily on irregular warfare topics.
She is the methodology lead for the Joint Irregular Warfare Analytic
Baseline (JIWAB) study, whose analytic approaches include problem
structuring methods, futures methods, gaming, expert elicitation, the
application of social science methods, and use of semantic wikis to support
analytic efforts. She is a former chair of the Military Operations Research
Society (MORS) working group on social science methods and applications; and
a former head of the MORS Social Science Community of Practice. She holds a
BS in economics and a BS in political science from MIT; an MA in political
science from Columbia University; and a PhD in Policy Analysis from the RAND
Pardee School (RAND Corporation).
